Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk in “ Daredevil,” has tweeted that he wants the Wolff to play the web slinger. ![]() He also has a Marvel actor campaigning for him to get the role. The 20-year-old has played snarky and funny characters, which is a perfect fit for Peter Parker. Nat Wolff – The actor is most well-known for playing Issac in last year’s summer hit “The Fault In Our Stars.” The producers liked his performance so much that they cast him as the lead in their next John Green novel adaptation, “ Paper Towns,” which is due in theaters on July 24. The choice reportedly won’t be announced for the next two or three weeks, but these are five of the actors reportedly competing to play Peter Parker in “Captain America: Civil War” and the standalone MCU “Spider-Man” movie: The Wrap reports that frontrunners for the gig are all between the ages of 18 and 20 (The most recent Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield, is 31). As previous speculation indicated, Marvel Studios is looking for a much younger Spider-Man to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
